Early in the process of planning our new home my wife and I interviewed a number of local landscape contractors in the Lady’s Island, SC, area. Jim Colman of Lawn Solutions was one of them.

As landscaping was about the furthest matter on my mind at the time, it wasn’t until many months later, well into the building process, that it became time to select a landscaper who would implement the plan we had developed with our landscape architect. It became abundantly clear at this point that Jim’s proposal was more about completing the look of our new home with mature, high quality specimens that would provide a proper transition between the home, the shoreline and the neighboring houses. His proposal was not the lowest bid we received, but we felt comfortable that we would be getting a truly wonderful look, complemented by proper irrigation and nightscape lighting.

Since the installation, Jim has followed up with weekly maintenance that has kept the property looking fantastic. His workers are polite and thorough. And I feel confident that when we leave South Carolina in the summer months that our property will continue to be maintained to the highest standard. Utterly professional are the words I’d use to describe Jim’s operation.

In addition to the initial landscaping, your follow on maintenance service has been outstanding! You have replaced plants that were outside of regular warranty, no questions asked.
