Roger is a registered landscape consultant with over 37 years experience. He has a Master’s Degree from the University of Georgia in Environmental Design. He is registered and licensed in South Carolina and Georgia. He has extensive experience in landscape architecture, land planning, and land development.

While working in Atlanta, Roger was in charge of the landscape architecture department with a large architectural and engineering firm. He developed upscale communities for such companies as Arvida and Gulfstream. He designed and coordinated urban planting projects for the 1996 Olympics. He has designed hundreds of residential landscape projects. Roger has had his work featured in Southern Living magazine, Housing magazine, and the Urban Land Institute Project Reference file.

In Beaufort, Roger has designed projects in the communities of Coosaw Point, Deer Island, Spring Island, Callawassie Island, Newpoint, Dataw Island, Islands of Beaufort, and many others. He has designed commercial projects at Beaufort Town Center, Newcastle Square, Beaufort Inn, Harbor Island Realty and others.

Roger has extensive experience in creating customized comprehensive plans to realize his client’s visions, lifestyle wants, and specific needs. These plans include driveway and pathway layouts, outdoor entertaining areas, and complimentary landscape areas. Some specific amenities include: pools, patios, pergolas, decks, fountains, walls, arbors, spas, fences, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, container plantings, outdoor lighting, fireplaces, and walks.

All custom designs are based on a detailed site analysis which takes into consideration: sun-shade areas, circulation patterns, views, areas to be screened; building restrictions, structure considerations such and window and porch heights, sun angles, utility locations, drainage and other site specific criteria.

Roger is keenly focused on helping our clients realize all of their outdoor living needs and wants. Whether it be new construction or landscape renovation, all of our projects are thoroughly planned and meticulously constructed. In most cases, Roger personally supervises the project layout; construction coordination and final inspection to ensure his plans are installed to the highest possible quality standards.
